2Al(OH)3 + Na2CO3 → 2NaAlO2 + CO2 + 3H2O


Aluminium hydroxide react with sodium carbonate to produce sodium aluminate, carbon dioxide and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 900-1100°C.
