Al2(SO4)3 + 8NaOH → 2NaAlO2 + 3Na2SO4 + 4H2O


Aluminium sulfate react with sodium hydroxide to produce sodium aluminate, sodium sulfate and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 900-1000°C.
