As2S5 + 3NH4HS + 3NH4Cl → 2(NH4)3[AsS4] + 3HCl


Arsenic(V) sulfide react with ammonium hydrosulfide and ammonium chloride to produce ammonium tetratioarsenate(V) and hydrogen chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 40-50°C.
