4H[AuCl4] + 3N2H5Cl → 4Au + 3N2 + 19HCl


Hydrogen tetrachloridoaurate(III) react with hydrazinium chloride to produce gold, nitrogen and hydrogen chloride. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.

As a result, reaction is produced colloid gold.
