Boron react with sulfuric acid

2B + 2H2SO4 → B2O3 + 3SO2 + 3H2O


Boron react with sulfuric acid to produce boron trioxide(III), sulfur dioxide and water. Sulfuric acid anhydrous. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 250°C.
