2BaCrO4 + 16HCl → 2BaCl2 + 2CrCl3 + 3Cl2 + 8H2O


Barium chromate react with hydrogen chloride to produce barium chloride, chromium(III) oxide, chlorine and water. Hydrogen chloride - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
