2MnO2 + 2H2SO4 → 2MnSO4 + O2 + 2H2O


Manganese(IV) oxide react with sulfuric acid to produce manganese(II) sulfate oxygen and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. The reaction slowly takes place in a boiling solution.[8]
