Bismuth(III) bromide react with water

BiBr3 + H2O → BiOBr + 2HBr


Bismuth(III) bromide react with water to produce bismuth(III) oxide-bromide and hydrogen bromide. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.

As a result of reaction formed white precipitate bismuth(III) oxide-bromide.
