Bismuth(III) chloride react with water

BiCl3 + 2H2O → Bi(OH)2Cl + 2HCl

Bismuth(III) chloride react with water to produce bismuth(III) dihydroxide-chloride and hydrogen chloride. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution in the diluted solution hydrogen chloride.
