3Br2 + 6NaOH → 5NaBr + NaBrO3 + 3H2O


Bromine react with sodium hydroxide to produce sodium bromide, sodium bromate and water. Sodium hydroxide - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 50-80°C.
