BrF3 + 3N2O5 → Br(NO3)3 + 3NO2F


Bromine(III) fluoride react with dinitrogen pentoxide to produce nitrate bromine(III) nitryl fluoride. This reaction takes place at a temperature near -30°C, in the liquid fluorotrichloromethane.[8]
