Carbon disulfide react with ammonium hydroxide and calcium hydroxide

CS2 + 2(NH3•H2O) + Ca(OH)2 → NH4SCN + CaS + 4H2O


Carbon disulfide react with ammonium hydroxide and calcium hydroxide to produce thiocyanate ammonium, calcium sulfide and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 110°C and an overpressure.
