Carbon disulfide react with hydrogen

CS2 + 4H2 → 2H2S + CH4


Carbon disulfide react with hydrogen to produce hydrogen sulfide and methane. This reaction takes place at a temperature of over 50°C. In this reaction, the catalyst is can be platinum or molybdenum(IV) sulfide.
