Chromium(III) chloride react with ammonia

CrCl3 + 4NH3 → CrN + 3NH4Cl

Chromium(III) chloride react with ammonia to produce chromium(III) nitride and ammonium chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 600-700°C.
