3CrF4 + 10H2O → 2Cr(OH)3 + H2CrO4 + 12HF


Chromium(IV) fluoride react with water to produce chromium(III) hydroxide, chromic acid and hydrogen fluoride. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
