3CrO3 + 9H2O2 + 6KOH → 2K3[Cr(O2)4] + O2 + 12H2O


Chromium trioxide react with hydrogen peroxide and potassium hydroxide to produce potassium tetraperoxochromate(V), oxygen and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 0°C.
