Copper react with phosphorus(V) chloride

2Cu + PCl5 → 2CuCl + PCl3


Copper react with phosphorus(V) chloride to produce copper(I) chloride and phosphorus(III) chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 130-140°C. Impurities: - copper chloride.
