2CuI + 4H2SO4 + 2MnO2 → 2CuSO4 + 2MnSO4 + I2 + 4H2O


Copper(I) iodide react with sulfuric acid and manganese(IV) oxide to produce copper sulfate, manganese(II) sulfate, iodine and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 60-80°C.
