2CuO + C + FeS + SiO2 → Cu2S + FeSiO3 + CO


Copper oxide react with carbon, iron sulfide() and silicon dioxide to produce copper(I) sulfide, iron(II) silicate and carbon monoxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 1000-1200°C.
