Iron(II) bromide react with water

FeBr2 + H2O → Fe(OH)Br + HBr


Iron(II) bromide react with water to produce iron(II) hydroxide-bromide and hydrogen bromide. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution solution in a nitrogen atmosphere.
