2FeBr3 + 3Na2CO3 + H2O → 2FeO(OH) + 6NaBr + 3CO2


Iron(III) bromide react with sodium carbonate and water to produce iron(III) oxide-hydroxide, sodium bromide and carbon dioxide. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
