FeCO3 + 4HNO3 → Fe(NO3)3 + NO2 + CO2 + 2H2O


Iron(II) carbonate react with nitric acid to produce iron(III) nitrate, nitrogen dioxide, carbon dioxide and water. Nitric acid - concentrated solution.
