Iron(III) chloride react with hydrogen sulfide

2FeCl3 + 2H2S → FeS2 + FeCl2 + 4HCl


Iron(III) chloride react with hydrogen sulfide to produce iron(II) disulfide iron(II) chloride and hydrogen chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 600°C.
