Germanium(II) chloride react with oxygen

2GeCl2 + O2 → GeO2 + GeCl4


Germanium(II) chloride react with oxygen to produce germanium(IV) oxide and germanium(IV) chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 60-70°C.
