2HgBr2 + 3(NH3•H2O) → Hg2Br2NH + 2NH4Br + 3H2O


Mercury(II) bromide react with ammonium hydroxide to produce dimercury(II) imide-bromide, ammonium bromide and water. Ammonium hydroxide - heated solution. The reaction takes place in a concentrated solution ammonium bromide.
