Hg2(NO3)2 + H2O → Hg2(OH)NO3 + HNO3


Mercury(I) nitrate react with water to produce hydroxide-nitrate dimercury(I) and nitric acid. This reaction takes place by diluting the concentrated solution nitrate mercury(I).
