2HIO3 + H2SO4 → (IO)2SO4 + O2 + 2H2O


Iodic acid react with sulfuric acid to produce oxoiodine(III) sulfate, oxygen and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 60-80°C.
