Iridium(III) chloride react with hydrogen sulfide

2IrCl3 + 4H2S → 2IrS2 + H2 + 6HCl


Iridium(III) chloride react with hydrogen sulfide to produce iridium(IV) sulfide, hydrogen and hydrogen chloride. This reaction takes place by heating to the temperature of no more than 630°C.
