2K2FeO4 → K3FeO4 + KFeO2 + O2


The thermal decomposition of potassium ferrate to produce ferrate(V) potassium, potassium ferrite and oxygen. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 500-700°C. Impurities: iron(III) oxide Fe2O3.
