Lead(IV) oxide react with potassium iodide and nitric acid

PbO2 + 2KI + 4HNO3 → I2 + Pb(NO3)2 + 2KNO3 + 2H2O


Lead(IV) oxide react with potassium iodide and nitric acid to produce iodine, lead(II) nitrate, potassium nitrate and water. Nitric acid - diluted solution. The reaction proceeds at room temperature.
