2KSCN + SnO2 → SnS + 2CO + N2 + K2S


Potassium thiocyanate react with tin(IV) oxide to produce tin(II) sulfide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen and potassium sulfide. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 450°C.
