Potassium persulfate react with water

K2S2O8 + 2H2O → K2SO4 + H2SO4 + H2O2

Potassium persulfate react with water to produce potassium sulfate, sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide. The reaction proceeds at room temperature in the diluted solution sulfuric acid.
