Manganese react with sulfuric acid

Mn + 2H2SO4 → MnSO4 + SO2 + 2H2O


Manganese react with sulfuric acid to produce manganese(II) sulfate, sulfur dioxide and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 70-80°C.
