K2Cr2O7 + 2(NH3•H2O) → 2Cr(OH)3 + N2 + 2KOH + H2O


Potassium dichromate react with ammonium hydroxide to produce chromium(III) hydroxide, nitrogen, potassium hydroxide and water. Potassium to dichromate - solid. Ammonium hydroxide - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
