NH4TcO4 + 16C2H5OH + 18K → K2[TcH9] + 16C2H5OK + NH3 + 4H2O


Ammonium pertechnetate react with ethanol and potassium to produce potassium nonahydroxotechnetate(VII), ethoxide potassium, ammonia and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 60-70°C.
