Sodium dichromate react with ethanol and hydrogen chloride

Na2Cr2O7 + 3C2H5OH + 8HCl → 2CrCl3 + 3CH3CHO + 2NaCl + 7H2O


Sodium dichromate react with ethanol and hydrogen chloride to produce chromium(III) chloride, acetaldehyde, sodium chloride and water. Hydrogen chloride - diluted solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 30-50°C.
