6NaHCO3 + 3Cl2 → NaClO3 + 5NaCl + 6CO2 + 3H2O




Sodium bicarbonate react with chlorine to produce sodium chlorate, sodium chloride, carbon dioxide and water. Sodium bicarbonate - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
