[Ni(CO)4] + 2NOCl → [Ni(NO)Cl2] + NO + 4CO


Tetracarbonylnickel react with nitrosyl chloride to produce dichloridonitrosylnickel, nitric oxide and carbon monoxide. The reaction proceeds at room temperature in a argon atmosphere.
