3PCl5 + 2H3BO3 → 3POCl3 + B2O3 + 6HCl


Phosphorus(V) chloride react with orthoboric acid to produce phosphoryl chloride, boron trioxide and hydrogen chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 150°C.
