PbO + Br2 + 3Na2CO3 + 2CH3COOH → PbO2 + 2NaBr + 2CH3COONa + 3CO2 + H2O


Lead(II) oxide react with bromine, sodium carbonate and acetic acid to produce lead(IV) oxide, sodium bromide, sodium acetate, carbon dioxide and water. Acetic acid - concentrated, heated solution.
