Palladium(IV) oxide react with sodium hydroxide and water

2PdO2 + 4NaOH + 2H2O → 2Na2[Pd(OH)4] + O2


Palladium(IV) oxide react with sodium hydroxide and water to produce sodium tetrahydroxopalladate(II) and oxygen. Sodium hydroxide - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 40°C.
